SUMMARY:

As a Wet Weather Program Data Analyst, you will be responsible for providing technical evaluation and support services to the Wet Weather Program. These services include the review, analyzation, processing, and reporting of data collected from manual and automated observations on sanitary sewers, storm sewers, and potable water lines. A wide range of software and processes will be used to efficiently identify and exceed client needs and expectations.

WHAT TO EXPECT DAY-TO-DAY:



  • Application of protocols, procedures, and standards for Sanitary Sewer Evaluation Survey (SSES) data management and reporting.
  • Project planning and execution to meet client requirements.
  • Production control and quality assurance.
  • Vendor and sub-contractor interface.
  • Coordinate with Field Crews and Operations Management for data collection and equipment maintenance.
  • Hardware and Software Troubleshooting and Support.
  • Project startups and direction of field deliverables to project specifications.
  • Emergency response including dispatching and interagency liaison.
  • Client relations, attend progress meetings and briefings.
  • Overall quality and timeliness of data collection, editing, and delivery.
  • Technical report writing.
  • Coordinate with Management to adhere to scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Conduct site visits to oversee fieldwork.
  • Review data collected from CCTV Inspections, Manhole Inspections, Smoke Testing, Flow Monitoring, and Potable Leak Detection.


WHAT YOU NEED:



  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental, or similar technical field, or three years of sanitary sewer evaluation surveys (SSES) and data management experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate with a team.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Process oriented individual.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Experience with GIS.
  • Experience working with databases.
  • Experience with data collection and reporting for SSES (Flow Monitoring, Smoke Testing, CCTV, Stormwater, I&I Studies, Hydraulic Modeling) or other Utilities (Sewer, Water, Gas distribution systems).
  • Requires a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record, drug test, and criminal record.


  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to work in field environments and variable terrain.
  • Must be able to lift equipment up to 50 pounds at times.
