Description JR Automation is looking for a seasoned automation Account Manager with experience in the Life Science vertical ( e.g., Med Tech, Med Device, Pharma, etc.). What You'll Do: Develop and maintain relationship with (potential) customers. Generate purchase orders to meet or exceed annual goal. Maintain & submit appropriate records for forecasting, quote status & expenses. Assist Applications Engineers as needed in developing solutions to the customer's needs. Continually contact prospective customers based on leads from business directories or other sources. Support all aspects of sales and marketing for geographic territory and/or vertical through the following methods: Market research in geographic areaIndustry trends Geographic market understanding Competitive landscape Niche opportunity identification Support lead generation activities Value proposition development and communication Support marketing effortsTrade show participation Marketing collateral Trade associations involvement Support aftermarket sales Align product offerings with market needs Standard product design Identify unique IP opportunities Goal setting and alignment of activity to support goals Maintain & submit appropriate records for forecasting, quote status & expenses Note: This list of responsibilities is by no means inclusive; however, it is intended to be a guideline for activities.What You'll Bring: 10 to 15 years in custom automation with recent, relevant experience dedicated to the Life Science vertical (e.g., Med Tech, Med Device, Pharma, etc.). Five to 10 years of account management or new business development experience. Associate or bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Management, or equivalent work experience. Well-versed in CRM software (Salesforce preferred). Possess a winning and creative approach to work when identifying customer solutions. History of maintaining and submitting appropriate records for forecasting quote status and expenses. Proven ability to continually contact prospective customers based on leads from business directories or other sources. Ability to travel up to 80% of the time (primarily day travel).
