We are hiring a Foreclosure Specialist for a mortgage client in San Diego, they will be supporting a reconciliation project. The ideal candidate will have financial services/mortgage experience and strong numerical/analytical skills.
*Job Duties:* * *Mortgage reconciliation* - Matching mortgage payments, statements, and accounts with records to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and compliance. * *Document Preparation and Execution: *Prepare, execute, and electronically file documents and deeds for judicial foreclosures; handle paperwork for new advisors and branches. * *Eviction and Property Management: *Refer eviction files to attorneys, monitor properties until eviction is completed, and work with property preservation companies to maintain vacant properties. * *Claims and Reimbursements:* Gather receipts, prepare claims for Quality Control, process insurance refunds, and submit supplemental claims for items not included in the original claim. * *System and Data Management:* Update internal systems with status, notes, and completion dates; review and respond to HUD notifications and remit funds to FHA. * *Operational Coordination*: Educate new branch personnel on policies and procedures, coordinate operational setup, and support branches with general questions during their transition. *Qualifications:* * Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline is preferred. * 1-3 years experience processing mortgage foreclosures, associated documents, payments, * 1+ years experience with FHA foreclosures experience. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
