ORC is seeking a full-time, exempt Right of Way Agent to work on projects in Oklahoma. The selected candidate must reside within a 1-hour commute of Tulsa, OK or Oklahoma City, OK and can expect to report to ORC's Tulsa, OK office as requested. The Right Work. The Right People. What you will be doing: As a Right of Way Agent, you will provide land acquisition services, per project guidelines and regulations throughout the right-of-way project lifecycle in support of the Project Manager (PM), or members of the project team. This includes reviewing and correcting title takeoff, construction plans, and Right-of-Way documents, preparing and submitting Waiver Valuation Forms, and delivering property rights documents to owners and their representatives for the acquisition of right of way. Candidate will maintain documentation of contacts, conduct final title checks, and handle back taxes. Candidate will secure parcels with approved counteroffers, provide weekly status reports, attend field reviews, and ensure removal of compensated items. Candidate will also handle Release of Damages and upload offer letters and submit counteroffers. You will be responsible for performing general administrative work including but not limited to mailing notification letters to mortgage companies, filing deeds, verifying addresses for condemnation parcels, organizing packets, and submitting vendor form packets to expedite payments. Able to read, understand and interpret department related documents and data. The employee is required to move about inside the office to access files, office equipment and to interact with other members of the staff. This role requires the employee to occasionally travel to meet with clients or vendors which involves time driving; sometimes for long durations. While meeting with clients and vendors, will need to be outdoors traversing different types of landscapes. May be exposed to the elements (heat, rain, snow, cold).
