Job Description

Step into a pivotal role as a Financial Analysis Senior Consultant, where you'll be at the heart of analyzing investment portfolio results and trends. Your insights will shape client strategies and operations, making a significant impact. As a key contributor to the monthly and quarterly close process, you'll own critical pieces of reporting and analysis, driving the narrative forward.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Insightful Analysis:Prepare detailed analysis, reports, and presentations to support internal management reporting for the investment portfolio.
  • Variance Validation:Review and validate daily and monthly income variances, using advanced query tools to uncover root causes and resolve discrepancies.
  • Financial Controls:Execute essential financial statement controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Data Mastery:Analyze large datasets in a controlled environment, ensuring precision and reliability in results.
  • Trend Identification:Spot emerging trends and lead discussions to understand their implications, guiding strategic decisions.
  • Discrepancy Resolution:Identify and address discrepancies in financial data, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
  • Deliverable Excellence:Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly deliverables, proactively communicating challenges and proposing innovative solutions.
  • Process Enhancement:Update processes based on evolving requirements from management or advancements in technology/tools.
  • Documentation:Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for analytical concepts, methodologies, and processes.
  • Effective Time Management:Balance multiple tasks efficiently, ensuring timely completion of responsibilities.
  • Collaborative Communication:Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with internal and external teams, fostering a cooperative environment.
  • Special Projects:Contribute to special projects and ongoing documentation of processes, methodologies, and controls.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This role does not include supervisory duties.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Preferred:Bachelor's Degree
  • Preferred:3+ years of experience
  • Preferred: SQL & Power BI Experience
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • No certifications, licenses, or registrations required.

  • Technical Proficiency:Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $62,800.00 - 114,175.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
