As a Flex Operator, you will support the execution of both the physical and cultural change within our Bradley Operating System (BOS) and be responsible for participating in the development, recommendation and implementation of continuous improvement ideas, process improvement teams, and activities for improving plant performance, as requested. You will additionally rotate through the plant operating designated equipment in established production cells and/or other departments, as assigned and\or fill in for those employees on improvement activities.This is a 2nd shift opportunity from 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM*.

*2nd shift hours will be changing on 7/7/2025 to 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm.

You Will:

  • Have full understanding of the following Continuous Improvement Principals:

    • Current State Mapping

    • Kanban- Pull System
    • Counter-Measures
  • Perform various Production Operations*:
    • Assembly operations
    • Fabrication operations
    • Finishing operations
    • Maintenance operations
    • Shipping/Receiving operations

*Must be able to operate at a proficient level in two of the above noted Production Operations

  • Assist Manufacturing Engineers updating/developing Operational Method Sheets (OMS) at the operational level
  • Be flexible and able to respond and adapt to changes and work any shift with limited notice. Must be willing to work up to 25% of the time on an off shift.

You Have:

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of Manufacturing experience

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is required to stand for extended periods of time. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision. Respirators may be required; therefore, successful completion of pulmonary function and fit tests may be required.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Respirators and/or hearing protection may be required.
