AMD together we advance_ THE ROLE AMD is seeking an experienced Export Classification and Licensing Program Manager to lead export compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to U.S. export laws and regulations. This individual contributor role focuses on ECCN classification, export licensing, and the development of procedures for product, software, and technology classifications. The position requires staying informed on regulatory changes, training internal teams, preparing reports and presentations for product rollouts, and maintaining strong relationships with U.S. government licensing officials. THE PERSONThe ideal candidate is a highly skilled export compliance professional with deep expertise in semiconductor or electronics classification and licensing. They have strong analytical abilities, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across internal and external stakeholders. Experience with U.S. ECCN classification is essential, and knowledge of classification regimes in the EU, Singapore, China, India, Malaysia, or Taiwan is highly desirable. This person is proficient in trade compliance tools, ERP systems, and due diligence screening tools, ensuring seamless compliance operations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
