Job Title: Technical Business Analyst
Location: Newark, NJ (Hybrid) Duration: 9+ Months In this role you will: * Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions. * Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies. * Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems. * Continuous upskilling of user platforms to support and in some cases administer updates within the system (configuration, tables, administration) * Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings. * Performing requirements analysis. * Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts. * Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management. * Performing user acceptance testing. * Working closely with the Product Owner ensuring the team is focused on the right priorities * Creating and developing user stories and maintaining the backlog * Managing competing priorities. * Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects. * Develop proficient to advanced skills with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and AGILE tools (JIRA, MIRO) Required Qualifications * Ability to influence and negotiate with key decision makers * Agile mindset * Requirement documentation * Process flow diagrams * Organized & Detail Oriented * Data analysis & integration Preferred Qualifications * Experience working in an AGILE environment. * Experience with AGILE tool * BA/BS in CS, Information Systems or Information management or Systems design * Life and Disability experience * Group Insurance experience a plus * Knowledge of SQL, Databases and Analytical/Reporting tools such as PowerBI/Tableau a plus | |
