Oak Grove Technologies, LLC, a dynamic and fast-growing federal contractor, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Global Advisory Cyber Security Advisor to provide cybersecurity expertise in a challenging environment, supporting U.S. Department of State Missions in the Balkans region. Location: Remote / CONUS with ability to deploy to the Balkans region.

Requirements

  • Highly skilled cybersecurity professional with a strong background in national or large organizational-level programs.
  • Excel at developing policies, strategies, and technical solutions while mentoring and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Thrive in high-pressure environments and are driven to address complex cybersecurity challenges with innovative solutions.
  • Provide cybersecurity advisory services at the national or large organizational level.
  • Develop and communicate cybersecurity policies, strategies, and organizational structures.
  • Implement cybersecurity capacity-building initiatives and deliver program deliverables aligned with mission objectives.
  • Analyze cybersecurity challenges in emerging markets and provide actionable solutions.
  • Collaborate with senior foreign military officials, government officials, and U.S. Government stakeholders to align cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Mentor and coach partner nation professionals in fragile and transitioning states.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Cyber Operations, Information Management, Information Systems Security, or a related field.
  • Ten years of experience working in cybersecurity at the national or large organizational level. Eight years of experience with a master's degree is acceptable.
  • Experience working with U.S. Department of Defense entities, such as the Joint Chiefs of Staff, or large enterprise-wide government organizations like the Department of State or Department of Homeland Security.
  • Experience as a director or program manager for projects implementing cybersecurity capacity-building initiatives.
  • Experience developing and communicating cybersecurity policies, strategies, organizational structures, technical concepts, and procedures at the military service staff level, joint staff level, or equivalent organizational level.
  • Experience working with senior foreign military or government officials.

Skills and Certifications

  • Ability to deploy to the Balkans region.
  • Proven professional experience working in or with the Balkan region.
  • Demonstrated understanding of cybersecurity challenges in emerging markets and teaching, coaching, and mentoring professionals on fragile states and transitioning topics.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in qualitative & quantitative research methods, problem-solving, and adherence to quality standards and program deliverables.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple contracts and task orders, coordinate activities in multiple locations, and work well with customers or clients in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Possess one or more of the following certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), NIST Cyber Security Professional (NCSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CASP), or Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO).
  • Proficiency in a Balkan language is highly desirable.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English with required certification.

Location:

* Remote / OCONUS with ability to deploy to the Balkans region.

Clearance:

* Active Top-Secret clearance; eligible for SCI.

Travel:

* Ability to deploy to the Balkans region.
