Position Summary
This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that may include a partially remote work location, consistent with System Office policy. UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station.

The Global Programs Manager (' GPM') is primarily responsible for contact, communication, and information management for the Undergraduate Business Global Programs team for a variety of internal and external stakeholders. This position works directly with outgoing and incoming students, in addition to supporting the work of the Associate and Assistant Directors for key Global programming. In addition, the GPM uses independent judgment and delegated authority to handle information requests and correspondence; analyze incoming information for significance; reroute requests as needed; determine needed action items; and work on matters to resolution. The GPM position has the following four broad responsibilities: 1) contact, communication, and information management; 2) international partner management; 3) global programs advising; and 4) administrative manager for Global program services. The GPM will work strategically with diverse faculty, students, and colleagues to provide top quality service and help to resolve challenges as they arise. While this role supports the Global Programs Team, the GPM is part of a growing cross functional Undergraduate Business team which supports the overall mission of the UBP.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Ability to maintain composure in fast-paced environment and provide timely, flawless service to a variety of stakeholders. Process and detail orientation towards operational effectiveness, efficiency, and accuracy. Must possess a professional demeanor with excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) required, as well as level of comfort using technology tools (such as Zoom, Slate, Qualtrics, and Canvas). Ability to flex work hours to include early morning, evening hours, and occasional weekend work during peak times.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Experience in advising and/or experience in the field of higher education. Strong team player attitude. Positive attitude and strong customer focus. Ability to organize and prioritize work. Exceptional interpersonal skills. Experience with student information systems (i.e., PeopleSoft/ConnectCarolina).

Campus Security Authority Responsibilities
This position is designated as a Campus Security Authority in accordance with the Clery Act. This position will be required to report Clery crimes to the Clery Compliance Manager and complete annual training about reporting responsibilities.
