The Levy Group of Companies is seeking a Scale Clerk to work at our Burroughs North location in Bay Port, MI. The Scale Clerk weighs trucks and performs basic recordkeeping and customer functions. Pay: $19-$20/HR Shift/Schedule: Monday - Friday, Weekends as needed Benefits Competitive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Prescription, 401(K) with 3% Employer Contribution, Long- and Short-term Disability Tuition Reimbursement for qualified skilled trade programs Student Loan Repayment Program Employee Referral Program Responsibilities The Scale Clerk will: Weigh incoming and outgoing trucks while adhering to state weight restrictions Direct vehicles to appropriate loading locations Ensure trucks are within weight restriction Provide directions for drivers Assist external customers and drivers with any service issues Enter data into various computer applications and run reports Maintain production records Enter timecards into Oracle OTL Perform other duties as assigned by superviso Skills The ideal candidate will have: High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods Knowledge of scale operations Knowledge of local geography, truck routes and local weight restirctions Good organizational, decision-making, and time management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities Must have a valid driver's license To Apply Please submit your resume.
