Your Impact

Under the coaching and guidance of our business development leaders and partners, you will hone important skills to tackle business challenges, and develop strong business acumen and technical competencies to drive favorable business outcomes. This internship position is designed to help you build a solid foundation for your career, accelerate beyond your peers, and position you for success in years to come.

Specific duties include but are not limited to:



  • BD Analyst:

    • Targeted research and relationship mapping for target companies and their executive teams, boards, financials, etc. to help qualify opportunities, develop strategies for pursuit, and strategic account management
    • Document business development activities and support of sales process in Salesforce CRM
    • Maintain and update various target lists
    • Assist with preparation of tailored presentations and proposals
    • Stay current with news, trends and hot topics our clients care about


  • Event Support:

    • Assist in preparation and execution of strategic events designed to nurture existing client relationships and drive new business opportunities


  • Practice Development:

    • Assist with preparation and updating of strategy decks, QBR reporting, etc.
    • Assist with various client retention initiatives


  • Client Service:

    • Support project teams on a variety of billable matters across Highspring's solutions and industries
    • Support AI readiness services




Minimum Qualifications



  • Junior or Senior level equivalent in pursuit of undergraduate degree with a declared major in Business, Economics or Communications
  • Minimum 3 years in a team-centered environment
  • Excellent written, oral communications and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to translate analysis to meaningful insights as well as present findings and recommendations to small groups
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite - strong PowerPoint, Excel skills are critical
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational disciplines
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, problem-solver and demonstrated ability to take initiative and interact with all levels of management
  • Ability to work autonomously while being a team player, and ability to adapt in a fast paced environment


Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience with LinkedIn, Pitchbook, Hoovers, and other business research tools is a plus
