WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

The Administrative Operations Analyst will provide programmatic and administrative support and analysis to Business Operations Senior Leaders and other key business unit operations. This analyst serves as primary point of contact and interacts with all levels of staff and management within the Business Operations business unit, the American Red Cross (ARC) organization, and with external partners and stakeholders as appropriate. The Administrative Business Analyst will also manage the administrative and logistical communications for a range of projects and initiatives and reports to the Chief Sustainability and Business Operations Officer.

  • Perform various administrative research and analytical tasks on a range of projects, operational issues and initiatives.
  • Compile results or findings in summarize reports.
  • Update and maintain appropriate documents and respond to routine.
  • Lead business unit on high level administrative processes and tasks across multiple lines of service and assist in developing processes and tools to support business unit objectives.
  • Prepare and analyze administrative data to be included in reports and presentations, including the preparation and presentation of Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint decks and other multi-media.
  • Brief and prepare staff for meetings and presentations held across the organization.
  • Provides Program Support through data analysis.
  • Provide regular in-person support for national conferences and meetings.
  • Manage schedules, attendee lists and logistics for one-time and recurring meetings (in person or via video/audio conference), including but not limited to hoteling, conference space, locations, and video-conferencing technology, etc.
  • Coordinate content for and prepare presentations and other communications for the Chief Sustainability and Business Operations Officer and other Business Operations leaders.
  • Manage and monitor calendar and travel schedule for the Chief Sustainability and Business Operations Officer.
  • May provide additional administrative support to other departmental staff as needed

Location - Metro Washington DC

Hybrid- 50-75% in office NHQ

Travel: Travel to other off-site locations may be required.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent years of related experience) required. Minimum five years of related experience.
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner.
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite, and proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to work effectively with all levels within organization.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision and guidance.
  • Experience communicating and collaborating with different levels of management.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $88K-102K/yr.

Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role .

This job will be posted for a minimum of five business days and extended if the applicant pool needs to be expanded.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The work environment will consist of moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones and printers, light traffic). The employee must have the ability to work in a small cubicle and have the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
