Schedule 1st Shift Monday - Friday, 07:00 a.m. - 04:00 p.m. On-site Location 555 McKee Drive, Gentry AR 72734 Job Summary The Transportation Operations Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all aspects of transportation operations, including dispatch operations, driver activities, and outstation coordination (where applicable). This role ensures the safe, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of products while upholding company values, safety standards, and operational excellence. The Superintendent will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure operational compliance, manage performance metrics, and provide leadership in all aspects of transportation operations execution. This position plays a vital role in aligning the department with corporate strategies related to safety, quality, financial performance, customer satisfaction, and team development. - Serve as a role model for the Company's Guiding Values and the McKee Operating System (MOS) by demonstrating integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
- Support McKee Foods' Corporate Safety Initiatives, ensuring compliance with all safety policies and maintaining a strong safety culture.
- Foster a culture of learning, accountability, and continuous improvement to drive team engagement and operational success.
- Oversee dispatch operations, driver scheduling, and outstation coordination (where applicable) to ensure seamless transportation execution.
- Monitor performance metrics, ensuring delivery schedules align with customer expectations while optimizing efficiency.
- Maintain adequate staffing levels and equipment availability to support operational demands.
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, fleet safety policies, and operational procedures.
- Leverage technology and data analytics to enhance transportation efficiency and decision-making.
- Act as the primary liaison between operations and other departments, identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance logistics operations.
- Communicate company policies, expectations, and operational updates to employees, ensuring alignment and clarity.
- Participate in cross-functional teams, including the TOST,TSST and local Management Team,
- Benchmark with peers and network across departments to identify best practices and areas for operational improvement.
- Work to maintain and ensure financial performance aligns with company expectations.
- Plan for and adapt to changing business conditions, ensuring efficient execution of strategy, policies, and operational plans.
- Utilize data-driven decision-making to optimize processes, improve customer satisfaction, and maintain high safety and performance standards.

Required Qualifications
- One to two years of college (>31 semester hours) with at least three years of job-related experience
- OR an equivalent combination of education and experience (two (2) years of experience = one (1) year of education).
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business reports, industry regulations, and operational procedures.
- Strong ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural documentation.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, and drivers.
- Ability to perform basic and advanced calculations, including rate, ratio, and percentage computations.
- Capability to interpret bar graphs, statistical data, and financial performance metrics.
- Understanding of logistics optimization and operational efficiency analysis.
- Ability to analyze real-world problems and develop actionable solutions in a dynamic transportation environment.
- Ability to interpret various forms of instructions (written, oral, diagram, schedule) and apply them effectively.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Proficiency in transportation management software, dispatch systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to quickly learn and utilize company-specific technology platforms.
- Must be willing to travel as needed for training, site inspections, or operational support.
- Flexibility to work variable hours, including evenings, weekends, or emergency coverage, when required.
