We have a Mechanical Engineer position available in Loveland, CO. Wunderlich-Malec Services' CASE RMC business unit is seeking an experienced, hands-on Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, immersive role-taking projects from initial design through assembly, testing, and on-site installation at customer locations. This role offers a unique blend of computer-aided design (CAD), hands-on fabrication, system integration, and field implementation, providing full ownership of assigned projects from A to Z. Periodic travel is an essential component, primarily domestic with some international assignments, allowing you to see your designs come to life in real-world applications. This position is responsible for mechanical engineering project requirements involving hydraulic power units, hydraulic/electric/pneumatic valve actuation, and hydraulic protection system design; design for manufacturing; 2D CAD drafting and 3D modeling of mechanical/hydraulic assemblies and systems; analysis and technical specification of system components and sub-assemblies; hands-on system assembly and fabrication; shop/factory testing; site installation and check-out support; commissioning; and field service of mechanical systems on industrial turbomachinery. Minimum Requirements Education BS Mechanical Engineering is preferred. An AA in Engineering Technology or equivalent with equivalent experience may be substituted. Experience 6-12 years of experience in or exposure to areas below is preferred:
Physical Demands of Position Seeing, color perception, hearing, clear speech, dexterity in hands, driving, lifting, climbing (stairs, portable ladders, fixed ladders), pushing, pulling, and ability to mount and dismount equipment. Working Environment Standard office, basic fabrication shop, and diverse industrial environments. Frequent PC usage, fax machines, copy machines, phones.
