Role Snapshot

Ensure new software systems and changes meet all required business needs by participating in testing efforts related to successful implementation of user-facing software application development projects, new system applications, system modifications, business impacting interface changes, and system maintenance. Conduct analysis and triage of user facing system issues and resolve or triage for additional research.

Salary Range

$60,000 - $70,000

The base pay offered for this position may vary within the posted range based on your job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Core components of this opportunity include the ability to:



  • Develop and maintain automation workflows using UI Path to optimize business processes.
  • Create and manage Excel Macros (VBA) to support data analysis and reporting automation.
  • Work with delivery teams to test applications and systems
  • Ensure changes to the systems meet user expectations
  • Identify, review, document, and report defects.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.
  • Intake production issues from call center, research and provide coaching/assistance, or file ticket for production issues.

  • Have utilized various testing techniques to create efficient and effective Test Plans and Test Cases with unique steps and definitive expected results.
  • Enjoy participating in test plan and test coverage review sessions to ensure appropriate coverage of all requirements.
  • Can log bugs with ample detail around the steps to reproduce.
  • Would enjoy creating and maintaining traceability matrices showing end-to-end testing process from requirements through workflow linkages, providing for quick remediation of bugs and determination of end user impacts.
  • Can identify and utilize risk analysis in test planning and prioritization.
  • Are able to recognize and explain opportunities for test automation.
  • Want to quickly learn new systems and technology.
  • Are able to motivate others, communicate with confidence, clarity, and sound reasoning when discussing concerns, ideas, and suggestions with all levels of staff and management.
  • Possess an understanding of the software development lifecycle, particularly how appropriate testing and deployment activities are embedded in an Agile methodology.

Minimum Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent post high school and/or related work experience
  • 3 or more years of experience at a Health Insurance enterprise


Preferred Qualifications



  • 1 or more years of experience with Software system testing and /or software configuration within a healthcare organization
  • 3 or more years working on test teams and/or project work
  • 2 or more years in a process/quality improvement or system configuration and testing position working within a SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
  • Advanced software testing certifications
