Introduction to the job ASML US, including its affiliates and subsidiaries, bring together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography machines that are key to producing faster, cheaper, more energy-efficient microchips. Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, Netherlands, and we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices inChandler, Arizona, San Jose and San Diego, California, Wilton, Connecticut, and Hillsboro, Oregon. We are seeking a Proto Engineer to join our System Integration group. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team that integrates, tests, verifies and release our systems for Development and Engineering (D&E). Our modules consist of an intricate network of process gases, high power lasers, optics, electronics, mechatronics, and control systems. In this hands-on position you will have the opportunity work with all of these components and become a system expert. You will be the key to building a better product though supporting the integration project and other development teams in the verifications of new functions and performance and provide the needed feedback to ensure the successful release. Role and responsibilities The Proto Engineer is part of a team responsible for operating and maintaining test rigs used by D&E for the purpose of design qualification, reliability testing, and issue resolution of new modules and features that are intended to be introduced across all ASML TWINSCAN products. This is a 2nd shift position Monday through Friday This position is located on-site in Wilton, CT. It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and innovation. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in engineering majors, e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Physics, Computer Engineering.
