Staffmark is seeking an experienced Shipping and Receiving Associate in Elmwood, LA. Now is your chance to become a part of a rapidly expanding wholesaler. This role is responsible for verifying and keeping records of shipments, preparing orders, and maintaining warehouse organization.

Schedule | Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Pay Rate | $18.50 per hour

Requirements:



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of shipping and receiving experience in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand, sit, or walk for long periods
  • Forklift experience



Other Important Qualifications:



  • Positive attitude, team-oriented, and able to self-manage.
  • Reliable attendance and transportation.
  • Strong math skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience using a handheld scanner.



Overview of Job Functions:



  • Verify and maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Assemble and prepare orders for shipment.
  • Inspect incoming shipments for damage and record shortages.
  • Correspond with shippers to resolve damages and shortages.
  • Operate a forklift to unload trucks and store products in the warehouse.
