The Director of Clinical Services provides the leadership and strategic planning of the clinical services programs offered at the facility, ensuring programs meet the needs of the community and the facility's performance goals and objectives. Responsibilities include the overall administrative processes and management systems for all clinical services offered at the facility, promotion and maintenance of a therapeutic environment, and development and implementation of clinical treatment programs.


Qualifications

Education: Master's Degree specializing in nursing, social work or a clinical related mental health area, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience: Three (5) years' experience in a psychiatric health-care facility.

Licensure: Appropriate state licensure in clinical discipline or mental health. LMSW or LCSW, preferred.

Additional Requirements: A strong knowledge of JCAHO, HCFA, OSHA regulations, and patient rights standards and all other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities. Certification in Handle with Care and CPR; certification training may be obtained during new hire orientation.
