Linux Software Engineer - OTA Systems

Overview:

Seeking a software engineer to develop secure, scalable user-space applications on embedded Linux platforms for OTA firmware update systems in electric vehicles.

Key Skills:

  • Strong in C/C++ and Python (required)
  • Experience with Linux system tools (systemd, D-Bus, file systems)
  • Familiarity with OTA concepts and secure firmware delivery
  • Debugging with tools like gdb, strace, and journalctl
  • CI/CD workflow experience



Nice to Have:
  • Experience with OTA frameworks (Mender, RAUC, SWUpdate)
  • Knowledge of security/crypto for OTA pipelines
  • Automotive domain experience
  • Rust experience is a plus



Estimated Min Rate: $80.00
Estimated Max Rate: $100.00
