Overview (Scope of Role) Reporting to the Manager, SEC Reporting, Technical Accounting & Policies, the Financial Analyst, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting position will have key role in the Company's Financial Reporting function, including: preparation of quarterly and annual financial statement filings as well as other SEC filings (quarterly earnings release, various registration statements, etc); significant role in global monthly close process and management reporting; frequent involvement in technical accounting issues; support of various annual accounting and reporting considerations (e.g., segmentation); and key interaction with business and functional leadership through a variety of complex and confidential matters. This position will also include involvement and responsibility for certain technical accounting assessments within the Corporate Accounting function, assistance with implementation of new accounting standards and policies. This role will also act in a key support role for Controllers team on wide variety of strategic projects, including: mergers, acquisitions, & divestitures; integration, restructuring events, and other financial reporting projects. Responsibilities Financial Reporting (internal and external):
Key member of the Financial Reporting function, including preparation of the Company's quarterly (Form 10-Q) and annual (Form 10-K) financial statements, including review of XBRL, and other financial reports, such as quarterly earnings releases, proxy filings, registration statements, etc;
