The Role

Our Manufacturing & Logistics group is looking for a Project Manager/Senior Consultant to join our journey. We're looking for someone who is a Sr. Project Manager with Digital Experience Consulting background to focus on ensuring employees have a positive and productive experience using technology in their work environment,

We're looking for Senior Consultants who can deliver within Cognizant's Five Pillars of Consulting: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. As a Consultant, this means creating high-quality client deliverables and taking ownership (with supervision) of producing client content and meeting client expectations; developing an expertise in your functional area, including obtaining certifications; contributing to Client Satisfaction and/or RFPs; supporting leadership and contributing to content development for service offerings; and participating in PeopleCare initiatives and exhibiting personal leadership at all times. Responsibilities

* Exercise responsibility for one or more components of a consulting engagement
Support or drive data-driven identification and analysis of solution requirement

* Conduct workshops with clients to elicit requirements as the basis for creating business requirements documents and user stories

* Leading a team of technical resources through a DEX tool rationalization project with a goal to select an enterprise DEX tool

* DEX tool evaluation will include scoring industry tools against one another effectively conducting an industry trade study that scores each vendor's tool by functionality (for Client/Clientless, Server/SCCM, & OSD), manageability, compliance, and vendor/community support/documentation

* Lead the technical team through a formal Vendor RFP process to select the final enterprise DEX tool

* Assigning tasks to technical resources at an agreed set of target due dates

* Build and manage a project plan complete with daily/weekly tasks, resource assignments, target dates (tracking plan vs. actual), and dependencies

* Perform other project tasks as needed, such as competitive research, storyline development, and report preparation (e.g., acceptance, QA)

* These associates develop a profound understanding of the Cognizant way, productive project collaboration skills and practice deliverables, collegial support and information-sharing practices, and exquisite client sensibilities

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Project Management, including consulting experience within the Manufacturing & Logistics industry
  • Well versed in MS PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experienced in large Digital Workplace implementations, specifically in leading technical resources through DEX tool evaluation process
  • PMP certification is preferred
  • Familiarity with Nexthink, 1E, Lakeside Software, ControlUp, Riverbed, Omnissa, Tanium, Ivanti, HP, HCL Software, Liquidware, Nanoheal, Porgressive Infotech, Flexxible, Almaden, Access IT Automation, Zscaler's DEX component, Tanium ACP, 1E Content Distribution for Microsoft Configuration Manager (formally Nomad), Adaptiva, Branch Cache, &/or Peer Cache would be ideal.
  • Masters or MBA Degree a plus
  • Solution acceptance testing experience (functional, integration, manual, automation)
  • Experience with program quality frameworks, methods, and tools (e.g., Six Sigma)
  • Experience in working in Agile environments, and proficiency with requirements collection tools (e.g., JIRA, R4J, RRC, and so on)

* Onsite Requirements: Hybrid 2-3 days/week in Peachtree City, GA
