Job Title: Business Analyst / Asset Management Analyst (Real Estate)

Location: Dallas, Texas- 75201 (Hybrid - On-site 3 days per week)

Duration: 12 months (Potential for Extension)

Responsibilities:



  • Analyze historical operating trends for various property types, identifying variances and potential risks associated with property operations.
  • Provide written analysis highlighting key trends and issues, noting any corresponding mitigants.
  • Discuss relevant concerns and propose remedies.
  • Provide analytical support to senior team members on various assignments, including historical trend analysis, cash flow modeling, risk analysis, property valuation, market analysis, and borrower and tenant credit analysis.
  • Maintain attention to detail and take the initiative to continually improve the integrity of portfolio information while meeting capital source reporting deadlines.
  • Research and analyze market data, monitor trends, and compare transactions with portfolio cash flows to assess collateral value and risk.

  • Exposure to all aspects of commercial real estate servicing.
  • Development of strong credit and real estate valuation skills.
  • Opportunity to travel for property inspections.
  • Experience with multiple commercial property types, including multifamily, industrial, retail, office, hospitality, and healthcare, across various real estate markets in the U.S., Europe, and Asia.
  • Understanding of various real estate capital sources and lending programs.
  • Direct interaction with senior members of the Client's RELS, REF, senior management, borrowers, investors, and agencies.
  • Development of critical skills relevant to asset management and origination roles.


Required Skills:



  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Real Estate, or a related discipline.
  • Understanding of basic financial modeling, valuation concepts, and methodologies.
  • Strong quantitative skills and demonstrated analytical ability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
