Summary:

In this role, you will develop and manage strategic partnerships, ensuring alignment with the company's sales, revenue, and business objectives. You will cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, negotiating contracts, and driving growth through effective collaboration with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and establish strategic partnerships to expand market reach, drive revenue, and increase penetration.

  • Lead partnership strategy development and contract negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial and compliant agreements.

  • Serve as the primary liaison for strategic partners, fostering long-term, value-driven relationships.

  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to develop and execute GPO-specific strategies, pricing structures, and promotional initiatives.

  • Align product offerings with client needs to drive sales growth through the GPO channel.

  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, legal, and compliance teams to ensure seamless delivery and regulatory alignment.

  • Monitor and analyze partnership performance, leveraging insights to optimize strategies for continuous growth.

  • Stay current on industry trends, competitive activity, and market dynamics, representing the company at key events to identify new opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred. Business, healthcare or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.

  • 7 or more years of relevant experience required.

  • Experience in channel sales, business development, or strategic partnerships-preferably within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical device industry-with a proven ability to drive revenue.

  • Deep understanding of GPO operations, including contract structures and pricing models.

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.

  • Skilled in analyzing data, generating insights, and delivering strategic recommendations.

  • Demonstrated success working in cross-functional environments with teams such as sales, marketing, finance, and operations.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $117,600.00 to $206,000.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
