Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is looking for a dedicated Program Manager - GME Credentialing to join the team. This role will be full-time day shift from Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. | Hybrid Role (1-2x per week) The Program Manager demonstrates communication, collaboration, partnerships and key community involvement to ensure excellent programs for customers and the community. Assists management in the development and implementation of strategic policies and procedures. Serves as a clinical expert and a team leader for all clinical staff in the outpatient environment. Maintains expert knowledge in his or her specific field and identifies national trends as they apply to the population served in order to establish needs and program priorities. Maintains working relationship with Principal Investigators, Clinical Coordinators and other staff submitting research to Inova in order to ensure effectiveness, efficient operation and oversight. Manages the program in order to ensure maximum effectiveness, including development, organization, scheduling, marketing, budgeting and implementing programs efficiently. Program Manager - GME Credentialing Job Responsibilities
- Develops new initiatives to support the strategic direction of the organization. Plans the delivery of the overall program and its activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.
- Ensures consistency in clinical practices across outpatient locations. Provides oversight of daily clinical operations, workflow, productivity, and training to outpatient clinical team members.
- Communicates with clients and other stakeholders to gain community support for the program and to solicit input to improve the program.
- Effectively plans, develops, implements and evaluates budget. Monitors and manages budget to meet needs of program, within plan.
- Targets potential grant, funding and/or revenue sources. Writes applications and proposals to support new and ongoing programs.
- Prepares market surveys and analysis of competitors. Prices products for maximum sales and profit potential.
- Develops a program evaluation framework to assess the strengths of the program and to identify areas for improvement.
- Maintains all administrative records pertinent to program goals and system wide policies. Oversees the collection and maintenance of records pertaining to of the program for statistical purposes according to the confidentiality/privacy policy of the organization.
- Evaluates and tests system improvements and changes and any new technology.
- Develops appropriate reports to effectively communicate program outcomes and successes for internal and external promotion and requirements.
- Develops products and marketing strategies to promote program, increase participation and ensure effectiveness.
- Uses planning process (minimum annually) to evaluate demand for new or revised services.
- Performs annual market review of services to evaluate demand, pricing, market differentiation and strategies. Makes necessary adjustments and revisions for best products and services.
- Provides support and processes for team and individual professional development.
- May perform additional duties as assigned.
Program Manager - GME Credentialing Additional Requirements
Experience - 3 years of experience in developing, implementing, coordinating, or managing health programs. Education - Bachelor's degree in relevant field (or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree) Program Manager - GME Credentialing Preferred Requirements Knowledge of confidentiality and privacy policies governing the collection and maintenance of credentialing records for residents and fellows. Ability to develop and deliver clear, actionable reports regarding credentialing status to management and staff. Skill in developing marketing strategies to promote programs, increase participation, and assess program effectiveness. Commitment to fostering professional development through team and individual support processes. Preferred but not required: Experience in medical education or Graduate Medical Education (GME) environments.
