Position Summary

STS Technical Services is hiring a Warranty Part Returns Analyst in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to support Harley-Davidson's Warranty Operations. This onsite position plays a key role in managing returned warranty parts, analyzing claims, documenting findings, and ensuring compliance with Harley-Davidson's quality standards. The ideal candidate will bring mechanical experience and strong organizational skills to support this dynamic and detail-oriented function.


Job Responsibilities

  • Follow established Warranty Part Returns Team (WPRT) processes to research claims and review returned parts against Harley-Davidson policy
  • Collaborate with Warranty Operations, Technical Services, Dealer Services, suppliers, and dealers to resolve claim discrepancies
  • Document serialized components using AS400 and SAP systems
  • Manage logistics for inbound and outbound materials, including return shipping and dealer debiting
  • Coordinate with stakeholders for part disposal or further inspection requests


  • Support WPRT activities such as:
  • Joint inspections with suppliers
  • Virtual analysis of returned parts
  • Component testing and documentation

  • Identify and report trends in warrantable parts to internal teams and warranty leads
  • Assist with special projects focused on continuous improvement of the warranty operations process
  • Work onsite at the Juneau Avenue location; future relocation closer to Harley-Davidson's PDC is expected (date TBD)

    Qualifications


  • Previous mechanical experience required (motorcycle or automotive preferred)
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong skills in Excel
  • Experience working with SAP, AS400, or similar systems preferred
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Effective communicator and comfortable working in cross-functional teams
  • Able to manage part logistics and follow established return procedures

    Work Schedule


  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • 30-minute lunch break
  • Full-time, onsite role
