Job Title: IT System Engineer
Location: Milwaukee, WI (On-Site)
Reports To: IT Director
Summary: The Systems Engineer will design, develop, implement, and maintain complex systems, ensuring they function as intended and meet organizational needs. The work of this position, in cooperation with other IT and Bell staff, allows our EMS crews to provide the highest level of emergent care, while operating as the largest provider of ambulance services in the State of Wisconsin.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Manages and monitors all installed systems and infrastructure for Bell Ambulance to be in accordance with company guidelines or SOP's
- Defines customers' needs and functionality in a service development cycle
- Assists in the coordination of various teams, testing and evaluating for the development of design and its implementation of the best (practices) output
- Ensures the highest level of systems and infrastructure availability
- Implements warranty and support activities
- Evaluates the existing systems and provides the technical direction to IT Support staff
- Plans and implements system automation as required for better efficiency
- Oversees the development of customized software and hardware requirements
- Collaborates with other professionals to ensure high quality deliverables within the organization guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Manages work processes, optimization methods, and risk management tools in the given projects for the successful accomplishments according to the requirements of Bell Ambulance stakeholders

Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years' experience in system engineering or related roles
- Strong knowledge of system administration and network configurations
- Experience with cloud platforms and virtualization technologies
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools
- Proficiency with MDM solutions
- Good documentation practices
