What you will do

Receive service calls from Service Resource Center, including a brief description of equipment/system malfunctions. Responsible to contact customer representative and ascertain equipment/systems problems. Diagnose problems and perform service and repairs on electronic fire alarm systems and other related building system products at customer sites.

How you will do it

Make recommendations based on manufacturer's specifications and state/local codes.

Identify deficiencies. Quote, sell, and repair on-site.

Up-sell existing customers new product offerings and services to meet compliance with current fire code regulations.

Meet or exceed quotas set forth by the direct supervisor.

Call on potential customers to offer suppression products and services.

Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facility is running efficiently to include upselling opportunities
Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.

Required

Knowledge of the fire protection industry.

Completion of High School diploma or equivalency.

Mechanical or electronic experience.

A valid motor vehicle license is required.

Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and basic computer knowledge.

Ability to transport equipment and tools weighing up to 40 lbs.

Ability to work in restricted areas and adept at maneuvering ladders.

Ability to demonstrate a high level of customerservice.

Effective communication skills with both internal and external customers

Preferred

Previous experience in the Fire Protection industry.

Knowledge of NFPA standards and dangerous goods is an asset.
