Senior Sales Engineer - Bay Area

As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in helping customers achieve their business goals by designing and delivering cutting-edge network solutions. You'll collaborate closely with an Account Manager to drive revenue growth by providing technical expertise and strategic guidance to our customers and partners.

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Partnering with customers and stakeholders to understand their unique challenges and craft tailored networking solutions.
• Designing and demonstrating solutions that leverage Juniper's portfolio to enhance performance, security, and scalability.
• Developing proposals, leading proof-of-concept testing, and ensuring successful solution implementations.
• Acting as a trusted advisor, keeping customers informed about emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Collaborating with internal teams to provide feedback on customer needs, competitive insights, and new opportunities.
• Engaging in continuous learning and professional development to stay ahead in an evolving industry.

• 5-7 years of experience as a pre-sales engineer with a network vendor or value-added reseller.
• Hands-on experience designing, demonstrating, and/or implementing Juniper Networks' solutions.
• Expertise in designing/building data center, campus, and wide-area networks.

• Campus network design (wired, wireless, WAN, and security).
• Data center network design (EVPN/VXLAN, IP fabrics).
• Network security design (NGFW, UTM, DDoS, IPSec, MACSec, SIEM).

• Network virtualization, including containerization.
• Network automation (Python, Ansible, YANG, JSON, Netconf).

This is a remote/home-office-based role, supporting customers in the Bay Area region. Travel may be required for customer engagements and team collaboration.

Minimum Salary: $176,000.00

Maximum Salary:$253,000.00

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $176,000.00 and $253,000.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Juniper's pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
