The RFQ Specialist will manage the lead time quoting process for After Market Masonelian Valves as well as identify gaps and collaborate closely with engineering, sourcing and manufacturing teams to propose deliveries as per customer request. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of procurement processes.

As an RFQ Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the Request for Quotation process, ensuring accurate and timely responses to client inquiries, and coordinating with various departments to gather the necessary information.
  • Understanding and analyzing customer requirements and specifications. Identifying delivery gaps and collaborating closely with product management, engineering, sourcing, and manufacturing teams to ensure lead time requests are met.
  • Working with the customer, communicating, and negotiating expedite fees as needed for those cases where lead time cannot be satisfied as through the standard processes.
  • Supporting the SDR and RFQ Leader to identify gaps in the entire supply chain that prevent us from quoting according to customer needs.
  • Monitoring and tracking RFQ status and following up with internal and external customers as needed.
  • Maintaining and updating RFQ documentation and records.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have an Associates' Degree in Supply Chain or related field, OR 2+ years of equivalent experience.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess proficiency in MS Office Suite.
