Job Description Leads the team members in determining methods and procedures for new tasks and the daily operations of Rehabilitation Services including the monitoring/administering of patient evaluations and quality of care in accordance with the written and signed prescription and/or referral of a physician or other State authorized practitioner. Organizes and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy programs to restore function, prevent disability following disease, injury or loss of a body part, and helps patients reach maximum performance levels. Organizes and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy programs to restore function, prevent disability following disease, injury or loss of a body part, and helps patients reach maximum performance levels. Develops physical therapy programs meant to restore function and improve physical movement. Monitors patient scheduling.Participates in the development and implementation of pertinent policies and procedures.Participates in the development of the annual operating budget.Ensures the operation and maintenance of equipment.Performs related duties as required. Job Qualification Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.Current License to practice as a Physical Therapist in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed.5-7 years of relevant experience and 2+ years of leadership / management experience, required. *Additional Salary Detail |
