Your Role

The Activity Analysis Specialist will be responsible for conducting detailed observational analysis related to space utilization and employee behavior within various work environments. This role involves using digital tools and methods to gather and analyze data, providing actionable insights to optimize space design and utilization.

What You Will Do

Conduct Observational Studies:

  • Perform detailed observational analysis of space utilization and employee behavior.

  • Follow predetermined routes to record space occupancy and primary activities (e.g., computer work, phone calls).

Data Collection and Management:

  • Use handheld devices for data collection.

  • Manage and report data on secure platforms.

Outcomes and Insights Review Meeting (optional)

  • Participate in an optional follow-up review meeting where the project team will cover key findings, outcomes, and recommendations from the completed activity analysis. Key findings and observed trends will be presented, along with their impact on the space design.

Your Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Environmental Design, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting floorplans and architectural drawings.

  • Basic knowledge of space planning principles and workplace design.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze data.

  • Familiarity with data collection and analysis tools.

  • Excellent verbal communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to accurately record and manage data.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Openness to learning and adapting to new tools and methods.

**Compensation is based upon experience and estimated base hourly rate is $30.00 per hour.
