About the Role:

The Service Coordinator will Provides administrative support to the Regional Service Manager and Field Service Engineers. Assist the Regional Service Manager with scheduling and organizing field service personnel, provide customer support and processes a variety of paperwork.

What You'll Do

  • Interact directly with customers and sales representatives on a variety of basic service-related issues
  • Assist with resolving basic problems and communicates solutions or requested information to the customer
  • Assist with analyzing customers' service needs and coordinates with other service or technical departments to develop and deliver an appropriate solution
  • Assist Regional Service Manager with scheduling routine service calls as required
  • Assist with monitoring installation times for overage of standard install hours
  • Assist Regional Service Manager with creating routine technical service quotes for customers
  • Assist Field Service Technicians with routine scheduling of on-site services, shipment of parts, and service equipment
  • Coordinates with other internal departments on basic service issues: Purchase Orders, Invoicing, Credits
  • Assist Regional Service Manager with basic ad hoc projects
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, working to continuously improve the level of service by ensuring that customer requirements and organizational service targets are met
  • Perform regular follow-ups with customers to ensure ongoing satisfaction
  • Assist with evaluating overall service level and implementing continuous improvement tactics
  • Respond to customer inquiries over the phone, email, etc. in a courteous and timely manner
  • Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to record activities, research product information, and manage customer relationships
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of company's products and understanding of structure
  • Learn from and studies experienced Service Coordinator's techniques and work
  • Remain current with skills by attending training classes, independent research, and seminars as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Associates degree or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent analytical, attention to detail, and self-motivated
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills
  • Ability to organize daily workload by priorities
  • Proficient in MS Office suite
  • Knowledgeable in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Primarily an office setting, with occasional visits to the factory floor
  • Office is clean, orderly, properly lighted, and ventilated
  • Office noise levels are considered low to moderate

  • If required, PPE will be provided
  • No travel required
