Global Customer Focus Quality Engineer

We are seeking a Customer Focus Quality Engineer at our Van Wert location. The primary function of this position is toensure that customer requirements are effectively measured, monitored and addressed, serving as a bridge between customers and the organizations standards to enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

• Capture customer specific requirements and analyze and deploy alignment through Fluid Conveyance (FC) division.
• Extract data and create customer scorecards for key customers in a timely manner.
• Verify customer portal data aligns with Danfoss ppm data and to confirm site action plans are defined to address key concerns, when needed.
• Measure and monitor customer PPAP processing is being completed in a timely manner and data entry into CRM is up to date.
• To verify key customer interaction for quality issues is provided, when needed.
• Serve as a point of contact for quality related concerns from key customers.
• Facilitate effective resolution of customer issues, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
• Act as a divisional quality function representative within the QMA framework.
• Support implementation and compliance of Quality Management System process at a divisional level including performing internal Quality Audits

Required (basic) qualifications

• Bachelor degree or 6+ years of quality experience in lieu of degree
• 2+ years experience in Quality or Engineering.
• Proficient in use of core quality tools.
• Proficient understanding of QMS based on IATF 16949
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in customer quality of tier 1 automotive industry
• IRCA quality auditor certification
• Experience in SAP and SalesForce.
• ASQ Certification as Certified Quality Engineer or auditor
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
• Spanish speaking skills
