Danfoss Power Solutions is currently hiring for our next Senior Project Manager. As our Sr. Project Manager, you will be responsible for larger projects from MFG IT - focusing on MES/MOM solutions to the business. Projects will be diverse from daily operations to strategic footprint projects globally. Tasks are overseeing and managing complex projects from inception to completion. This role requires strategic planning, resource allocation, and coordination across multiple teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. The Senior Project Manager acts as a leader and mentor, guiding project teams and stakeholders through the project lifecycle, to foster a collaborative and positive team environment, encouraging innovation and problem-solving. The role is expected to collaborate with existing MFG IT team, to understand usage and maintenance requirements from legacy systems. This, to give insight into future requirements and possibility to development and implement unified solutions and systems, based on ISA95 standards. The role will ensure close collaboration between business needs, MFG IT solutions and compliance with future development led by the System and Solution Architect in the team. As the structure of the team is new, it is important that systems/shopfloor-knowledge and perspectives are brought to the team. Despite experience and influence from previous implementations, it is important that a future roadmap is conducted to create the best possible value for PS, as the segment encompasses significantly differences in Operations, Products and Systems. It is expected from the role to execute project leadership with senior management and plant stakeholders in the organization, ex. When doing development, pilot testing and subsequent integration of end-to-end systems. Also, the position is expected to share knowledge across the MFG IT team, by doing training and development across colleagues. With the role comes also the possibility of influencing and co-develop standardization of manufacturing equipment across PS. Travel days are estimated to 50-60 days pr. year. Job Responsibilities
The role deals with multiple plant, division and segment stakeholders. A strong ability to build relationships and communicate with different levels of management is essential. We are seeking a candidate who works with a can-do attitude and is efficient and innovative to execute on the strategy - serving our customers with best-in-class service and execution. Thus, meaning that a significant experience in MES systems and architecture is required for the candidate to be successful. It is expected the successful applicant will have 4 to 7 years' experience in complex IT applications management and manufacturing processes, with advanced skills in applications management, delivery and support.
