Provide Reliability and Maintainability advisory and subject matter expertise for F-35 Joint Program Office.

Essential Job Functions:

Research, analyze, and apply appropriate processes, technologies, and knowledge-based capabilities to improve weapon system reliability and maintenance effectiveness.

Analyze the tenets of Condition Based Maintenance Plus (CBM+) and identify recommended methods to enhance traditional Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) with new technologies using a systems engineering approach to collect data, perform analysis, and facilitate the decision- making process for the weapon system.

Develop for recommendation, organize, and execute USAF F-35A continuous improvement initiatives.

Leverage existing gap analysis as available and perform gap analysis when information is unavailable.

Perform analysis and develop recommendations for cost saving initiatives to meet warfighter requirements while focused on increasing readiness and improving reliability.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

A Masters Degree in an Engineering discipline plus 20 years of experience.

Must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance within 6-9 months.

Expert knowledge in performing research and analysis on logistics and sustainment efforts to include conclusions and recommendations as well as any software macros developed as part of analysis, and briefs.

Experience identifying and recommending alternatives, improvements, and solutions for current requirements, strategies, and programs and documenting processes for project and program execution.

Demonstrated ability to perform analysis for continuous process improvement processes to include mapping of organizational processes and facilitation of Rapid Improvement Events (RIEs).

Experience performing research and gap analysis of current USAF processes that govern system identification and development of requirements capability to include analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, and redundancies in existing processes and organizations.

Experience performing assessments and analysis of logistics strategy documents to include BCAs, COAs, market research, and technical and financial evaluations through all phases of the program.

Experience with analysis, recommendations, and technical documentation, such as failure, defect, malfunction, and deficiency reports; inspection processes, procedures, requirements, techniques, and tests; supportability plans and strategies; maintenance strategies; Level of Repair Analyses (LORAs); Sources of Repair Analysis (SORAs); repair solution reports; RCM plans; depot gap analysis reports; and related documents.

Experience with research and analysis on technical documentation such as technical manuals, engineering data, specifications, standards, and applicable training. Includes technical data and technical reports, training documents, processes, and procedures.
