Role and Responsibilities:


No Experience, No Problem! CW Resources is in search of a Material Handler & Receiver who will be tasked with transferring materials between different areas within the commissary. A Commissary is a grocery store on a military installation.



  • Work with a team that primarily consist of adults with disabilities and disabling conditions.

  • Loading and unloading trucks

  • Separate truck loads

  • Keep track of items received

  • Identify damaged merchandise

  • Picking and packing orders

  • Organizing inventory

  • Operating machinery such as forklifts or pallet jacks - (CW will train)

  • Ensuring that materials are stored safely and efficiently


Qualifications:



  • Work well with others and be supportive.

  • Be willing to learn new task!

  • Follow safety rules.


Requirements:



  • No experience needed


Physical Demands:



  • Frequent bending, squatting, and reaching to handle materials.

  • Standing or walking for long periods during shifts.

  • Manual dexterity and the ability to operate material handling equipment.

  • Ability to work in physically demanding conditions with repetitive motions.

  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, and hearing protection may be required.

  • Reasonable accommodations can be made.


Environmental Demands:



  • Exposure to varying temperatures, including cold storage or heated production areas.

  • Noise levels from machinery and equipment may be elevated.

  • Potential exposure to dust, fumes, and other airborne particles.

  • Working in both indoor and outdoor environments depending on the warehouse layout and operational needs.
