Duties and Responsibilities: Serve as liaison for assembly and distribution maintenance needs as required. Hand out job assignments as required. Install, maintain and repair such items as electrical, plumbing and machine equipment involving metal work, plant carpentry and painting. Install new, or alter existing equipment and facilities including lighting, ventilation, airlines, phone system wiring and programming, data networking, and cabling. Determine malfunction of equipment and facilities; repair or replace defective items. Inspect and perform routine maintenance and lubricate equipment as necessary to maintain proper operation. Maintain weekly updates of preventive maintenance programming. Test fire alarms, troubleshoot and modify as necessary. Utilize hand and power tools in performance of duties to fabricate various materials as needed. Operate mechanized lifting and moving equipment as needed in performance of job duties. Order materials, supplies, tools and equipment required to perform job duties and maintain related records. Arrange for outside contractor to perform specialized maintenance functions as directed. Inspect completed work for compliance with specifications. Maintain buildings, grounds, and equipment in a clean, orderly and safe condition. Maintain PM and work order systems. Perform other related duties as assigned.
