Position Summary:

Methode Electronics is seeking a Senior Manager, International Tax to lead global tax planning, compliance, and reporting across the company's international operations. This role will focus on managing U.S. international tax provisions, transfer pricing, foreign tax compliance, and cross-border strategies to ensure alignment with global tax regulations and support business growth. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in international tax, experience in a multinational environment, and the ability to work cross-functionally with finance, legal, and regional teams to drive tax efficiency and compliance across Methode's global footprint.

This full-time onsite position is based at our Chicago Corporate office, located near O'Hare International Airport. We offer a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package, and access to an onsite gym.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and review of annual and quarterly tax provisions and projections using OneStream and Excel, ensuring compliance with ASC 740, FASB pronouncements, SOX, and internal control requirements

  • Responsible for U.S. international tax matters, including GILTI, FDII, BEAT, foreign tax credits, and Subpart F

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in tax procedures

  • Develop and execute strategic tax planning for U.S. international taxes, including research to optimize compliance and minimize tax liability

  • Manage all aspects of BEPS and transfer pricing documentation and requirements

  • Monitor and interpret international tax law changes, assess business impact, and develop proactive strategies in response to evolving legislation

  • Support internal and external audits, as well as special projects related to tax matters

  • Ensure the accurate and timely filing of U.S. international income tax returns and other required business-related filings

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in a tax manager or public accounting role

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA and/or MST preferred

  • Strong understanding of corporate tax code, compliance, and procedures

  • Experience with U.S. federal and international tax reporting requirements

  • Excellent accounting, analytical, and tax research skills

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities

  • Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with stakeholders

  • Skilled in communicating the value of tax initiatives across the business

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Experience with OneStream or similar financial reporting tools preferred

The base pay hiring rate expected for this position is: $126,000-$180,000 annually. This position is eligible to participate in an incentive plan.Metrics and level of participation are determined annually.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
