Job Overview

In partnership with the UC Health academic healthcare system and Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, College of Medicine's faculty are transforming the world of medicine every day. The Department of Radiology is a top-tier department with world-renowned faculty and staff.

A full-time Neuroradiologist Faculty position at the Instructor level is available in the Department of Radiology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. This position will support the University's mission and commitment to excellence in our students, faculty, staff and all our activities. The successful applicant will be provided with a competitive salary and benefits.

Our affiliated University of Cincinnati Medical Center (UCMC) and other UC Health facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art radiography, CT, and MR equipment, and support PACS and voice recognition dictation. UCMC is a Level 1 Trauma center with a leading neuroscience institute including areas of excellence in neurooncology, comprehensive stroke center, neurovascular, epilepsy, neurocritical care and ENT.

Essential Functions

  • Oversee and teach UCMC diagnostic residents, neuroradiology fellows, and UC College of Medicine medical students in the performance of imaging examinations and neuroradiologic procedures including spine procedures.
  • Additional teaching responsibilities include bi-monthly formal and informal didactic lectures, neuroradiology case conferences, and curriculum development and evaluation.
  • Patient care responsibilities include the interpretation of all neuroradiology imaging examinations including advanced MR and CT techniques and performing basic neuroradiology procedures, with services provided at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center (UCMC) and other UC Health facilities.
  • Attend and actively participate in Departmental service meetings and conferences.

Minimum Requirements

Prior to effective date of appointment, all of the following:



  • Ohio medical license.
  • Medical degree (MD/DO).
  • Completion of four years of post-graduate radiology training.
  • Completion of a one year neuroradiology fellowship.
