MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
* Design, plan, and promote all aspects of Tennant's Total Well-being programs including educational opportunities and Wellness Rewards.
* Responsible for design and administration of Tennant Executive Benefits plans to include but not limited to Nonqualified Retirement, Executive Physicals, income replacement, and other ancillary plans and perquisites.
* Manage Tennant's 401(k) vendor to perform daily administration of the plans, such as verifying demographic information, escalated issue resolution, annual matching true up, and monthly profit sharing contributions. Shared responsibility for coordinating all employee benefits education, conducting and preparing materials for benefit orientation.
* Provide consultative guidance based on benefits expertise and work closely with Benefits Manager for any plan level decision making and/or legal or compliance related issues.
* Analyze plan usage, statistical data, and claims cost reporting to recommend plan design and vendor changes.
* Assist in managing annual projects such as Open Enrollment, year-end tasks, and own vendor interface file transitions and audits.
* Interacts with IT during benefit program enhancements or updates. Performs unit testing to ensure proper program functionality. Partners with IT for articulating benefit changes and testing of new programs.
* Responsible for the maintenance of Plan Documents, Life Certificates, Summary Plan Descriptions.
* Ensure all benefits related vendor billing are processed correctly and timely.
* Respond to questions and data requests from internal and external auditors and coordinate additional programs or miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
* Ensure compliance and demonstrate working knowledge of federal and state laws, including but not limited to ERISA, PPACA, ADA, ACA and FLMA.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
* Bachelor's degree
* Five or more years of experience in benefit administration
* Excel proficiency (Queries, Pivot Tables, V-lookups)
* PowerPoint proficiency
* Benefitfocus and SAP experience a plus

* Ability to prioritize work, handle multiple tasks, set goals and consistently deliver timely and accurate products and services.
* Proficiency is public speaking and presenting information to large crowds.

* Must be detail orientated and have a high attention to accuracy.
* Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
* Willingness to be flexible to meet business needs.

* Ability to use sound judgment and discretion in dealing with highly confidential information.
* Must enjoy working independently or in a team setting.
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $77,200 -115,800 Annualized
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Tennant Co. reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualifications of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
Total Compensation = Base Salary + Benefits
