Responsibilities

Manages EMR MEDITECH/enterprise clinical system applications in the areas of ongoing user support/training, dictionary, maintenance, system enhancements, problem analysis, resolution and troubleshooting. Works with vendors and other IT staff to coordinate hardware installation, maintain and oversee changes, corrections, enhancement to the Clinical Systems. Acts as a liaison for Departments for Clinical System issues. Should be able to work on projects and support applications with minimal supervision.



Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

    High School Diploma required for all new hires starting 4/1/14
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Healthcare field, Business Discipline, Healthcare Management, Health Information management or Information Science or equivalent experience required.
  2. 2 years work experience in a hospital setting preferred
  3. Clinical experience required.
  4. Interpersonal skills necessary to deal with and establish working relationships with physicians, hospital personnel and co-workers.
  5. Should have very strong technical aptitude.
