Under the direct supervision of Operations Manager, the Shipping Coordinator will ensure quality product is being delivered to the customers and received from Suppliers.

Primary functions will include processing all paperwork necessary for shipping and receiving goods. Shields employees are expected to maintain a safe, clean, and organized workplace at all times.

The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for the safe loading and unloading of materials along with correct paperwork being processed. Participates in GMP and food safety training. Follows GMP policy. Reports all food safety concerns with urgency.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accurately completes all paperwork necessary for shipping and receiving goods.
• Receives all items into the facility including transfers.
• Enters all received goods and shipped goods into system.
• Assists in loading/unloading materials onto trucks as needed.
• Track inventory as products move through warehouse.
• Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.

High School or GED Equivalency Suggested, but not required.

Eligible to work in the United States

Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen

Ability to work 8 hour day shift

Work overtime as required Satisfactorily complete training courses as determined by management Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with our without accommodation

Proficient understanding in processing goods for shipping and receiving.

Successful history of working in a warehouse. Experience in loading and unloading trucks for shipment along with processing required paperwork.

Ongoing training and education is essential to continue to improve work processes, all Shields Bag and Printing Co. employees will be expected to attend training and education sessions.
