Why do we need you ?
Reporting to the Manager of APS & AAE, the Advanced Application Engineer leads and supports key techno-commercial initiatives to ensure profitable sales growth for Abrasives North America across industrial markets (including Aerospace, Automotive, Bearing, Electronics, Cutting Tool, Foundry, Gear, Medical, Metal/Composite Finishing, and Primary Metals). The role includes identifying, collaborating, scoping, and executing projects with key customers and technology groups to provide abrasives solutions in existing and emerging growth markets. The incumbent should have a passion for growing technical competencies and sales for Abrasives NAM, and have a history of developing key relationships with end-users, OEMs, and/or technology partners. Familiarity with the Abrasives business structure, including product management, application engineering, sales, marketing, and general management, as well as the ability to network within these groups, is preferred. The incumbent should be a hands-on leader who can own a project from inception to completion and is comfortable working in both lab and production environments. A team ready to welcome you
