It is anticipated that an incumbent in this role will work onsite for three (3) or more days a week and will have a dedicated workspace when working onsite. Work location is subject to change based on business needs. Summary of the Job: FNTS is seeking motivated summer interns to join our Network Operations Center (NOC) team. This internship provides hands-on experience in a dynamic technology environment, offering broad exposure to enterprise-level operations and monitoring systems. About this Role: Responsibilities Assist with monitoring of client systems and applications Support batch operations and mainframe processes Participate in incident management workflows Document operational procedures and incidents Shadow NOC specialists during daily operations Contribute to team projects as assigned Learning Opportunities Gain practical experience in a 24/7 enterprise monitoring environment Develop understanding of mainframe technologies and batch processing Learn incident response protocols and escalation procedures Explore managed service provider operations and client relationships Acquire foundational knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices Understand the critical role of a NOC in maintaining business continuity The Ideal Candidate for This Role: Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field Strong interest in IT operations, networking, or systems administration Basic understanding of computing fundamentals Excellent communication and teamwork skills Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Additional Information Location: Omaha, NE Duration: Summer 2025 (Starting by May 28, 2025) Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday Compensation and Benefits Overview: We offer a variety of benefits designed to keep you and your family physically and financially healthy.
