Title: Maintenance Field Planner

Salary: $78,200 - $105,000

Focus: The Field Planner is responsible for planning maintenance jobs while keeping the right people involved as well as providing accurate and thorough information in job packages for the crafts to complete their daily jobs successfully with minimal re-work.
The Freeport site is the single largest chlor alkali complex in the world with more than 1,000 employees. The chemical products produced at our Freeport location include chlorine and caustic soda, vinyls, epoxies, chlorinated organics, aromatics, bleach, hydrogen, and hydrochloric acid.
Field Planner Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for determining "How" work gets completed; Ensure scope of work is clearly defined and understood on every job
- Prepare job packages in SAP that include resources (labor, tools, equipment, materials and services) needed to complete the job; Record tasks and information within the work order
- Use feedback from crafts and operations to optimize/archive job plan packages; Solicit assistance from Work Coordinator when determining the correct number of craft persons and hours required to complete operational steps.
- Utilize archived job plans in combination with field visits to develop new job packages; Identify/solicit safety information and requirements to allow safe execution of job plans
- Support Maintenance Procedure Use Policy by assuring that all job packages include the necessary procedures. If a procedure does not exist, follow Management of Change (MOC) protocol for development and approval of new procedure(s); Reviews PM order closure report upon job completion for completeness and accuracy
- Act as the focal point for materials by assisting the Marshaller with understanding material needs on job package
- Check that job procedures include safety, health, and environmental considerations and control measures to ensure safe execution of work activities; Address issues with service providers that are impacting productivity and scheduler attainment; Ensure that the Procedure Use Policy and safety standard requirements are being met.
Field Planner Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of craft maintenance, maintenance planning or operations experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong planning, scheduling and organizational skills, as well as good written and verbal communication skills
- Chemical plant experience preferred
- Proficiency with SAP strongly preferred
- Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred
- Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's license
