Job Description

(R&D) Mechanical Design Engineer. Senior

  • Design and prototype mechanical and electro-mechanical components and systems, including vacuum, cryogenic, gas delivery, and thermal control
  • Define requirements, system specifications, input/output and working parameters for hardware, electrical and/or software compatibility
  • Identifies, analyzes, and resolves system design weaknesses
  • Use CAD and simulation applications to create models and perform structural, thermal, and fluid analysis (CREO and or Solid Works implemented at TMEA)
  • Explore and implement novel materials and manufacturing processes
  • Collaborate with electrical, process, and software engineers to develop integrated systems solutions
  • Work with suppliers and external partners for component prototyping and manufacturing
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
  • Experience using engineering analysis tools (FEA, CFD etc.) in the design process given strong consideration

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of related experience; or master's degree with 6 years of related experience.
  • Ability to travel 25%.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degrees in Physics, electrical, mechanical, or systems engineering preferred.
  • 5+ years of development, deployment, and sustaining engineering on semiconductor wafer handling automation equipment, including load ports, wafer transport, and similar robotic equipment.

Salary Ranges$ - $

Individual pay is determined based on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skills, job-related knowledge, relevant education, certifications, and/or training. In addition to base salary, we offer (full time regular employees ) a comprehensive benefits package and for certain roles eligibility in our bonus plan and long-term incentives as applicable.
