Responsibilities

What You'll Do: As the Clinical Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the clinical components of our programs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leadership & Development: Recruit, interview, and train a talented clinical team in our evidence-based treatment philosophy and standardized protocols. Inspire and guide clinicians to deliver exceptional therapeutic services to teens and families.

  • Clinical Oversight: Assign caseloads and supervise the clinical staff, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance with clinical documentation and treatment plans.

  • Direct Client Care: Maintain a hands-on approach by carrying a caseload of clients and/or families, providing direct support and intervention as needed.

  • Program Management: Collaborate with the director to develop and monitor the clinical program schedule, ensuring adequate coverage and compliance with payer requirements.

  • Group Facilitation: Lead Parent Support Groups, Multi-Family Process Groups, and other therapeutic sessions, creating a safe space for healing and connection.

  • Crisis Management: Actively intervene in crisis situations, utilizing your expertise to provide effective crisis prevention and management strategies.

  • Quality Assurance: Conduct chart audits, oversee the timely completion of assessments and treatment plans, and participate in quality assurance activities to uphold our commitment to excellence.

  • Community Engagement: Represent Newport Healthcare in community meetings, conferences, and trainings, sharing our mission and advocating for mental health awareness.


Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Master's Degree Required: A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required. A Doctorate degree is preferred and will be considered a significant asset.

  • Licensure: Must hold a valid license in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work in the state where you are applying.

  • Family Therapy Experience: Demonstrated experience in providing family therapy specifically for adolescents and their parents is essential.

  • Framework Familiarity: A willingness to be trained and supervised in Attachment-Based Family Therapy, and to provide services within this framework is required.

  • Trauma-Informed Care: Training or experience in trauma-informed treatment is preferred, as we prioritize a compassionate and understanding approach to care.

  • Supervisory Experience: A minimum of one year of supervisory experience is required, showcasing your ability to lead and mentor a clinical team effectively.

Compensation for this role ranges from $70,000- $97,000 per hour depending on education and experience.
