Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our remote team. In this vital role, you will support our Procurement team in managing commercial, municipal, local, state, and federal subcontracting activities for our West Coast and Pacific Business Units. This role will involve overseeing the procurement lifecycle from vendor identification through to purchase order closeout.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Project Managers and technical staff to support project needs while ensuring compliance with contract requirements, laws, and regulations, including FAR and DFARS.
  • Maintain the highest ethical standards in all procurement activities.
  • Issue Requests for Proposal (RFP), RFP amendments, Purchase Orders, Subcontracts, and Change Orders/Modifications.
  • Perform proposal evaluations and lead subcontractor negotiations.
  • Identify complex or high-risk procurement actions and collaborate with management to mitigate associated risks.


Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree and/or NCMA certification is desired.
  • 1-5 years of progressive experience in procurement with increasing responsibility.
  • Experience in developing and utilizing various subcontract service order types.
  • Familiarity with all contract types (FFP, T&M, CP, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of public sector procurement and acquisition strategies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of FAR and federal contracting vehicles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.


Note: This position requires specific driving duties. You must be able to pass a motor vehicle records check required by our insurer.


Drug Screen Statement

Pay Range

$60,000 - $80,000 USD

The EA pay range for this position is intended as a general guideline and does not guarantee specific compensation or salary. Factors considered when making an offer include job responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, alignment with market data, and compliance with federal and state laws.
