Warehouse Supervisor

As a Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for directing the warehouse staff to provide the highest levels of accuracy and efficiency. Supervise all warehouse staff
• Ensure that all orders are loaded and secured for efficient, timely delivery processes
• Ensure that orders are checked for content and labeling and note any discrepancies
• Oversee ship verification process to assure that product on the dock is confirmed
• Ensure that all picks are completed, labeled and loaded accurately
• Monitor staff productivity to ensure that trucks are loaded, and deliveries are made in a timely manner
• Ensure that systems and procedures are implemented and communicated to employees in a timely manner and are followed consistently
• Hire and train new employees
• Provide performance plans and feedback to employees
• Ensure safe and accurate loading or unloading of trucks
• Assist in the training of employees on any appropriate equipment used
• Ensure the work area is clean and safe
• Other duties/responsibilities as assigned

• Previous supervisory experience in a similar role
• Previous forklift experience
• Knowledge or experience with plumbing and heating supplies (preferred)
• Knowledge of freight companies and prior experience scheduling (preferred)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate employees
• Functional capacities evaluation which demonstrates ability to safely perform the essential functions of the position
